My late Dad’s name was David McInally. Dad was born in Glasgow, when the 2nd world war started Dad was sent to France. While fighting Dad lost his right hand and part of his forearm, he wore an artificial arm but still worked all his life. When Dad went to live at Musgrave Park and joined the Musgrave Park Follies they were singing and dancing and while doing this Dad fell and snapped his Achilles tendon, he was referred to Dr Frans Duminy, when Dr Frans Duminy saw Dad the first thing he asked was about Dad’s amputation etc. He then examined the stump and found 5 little bloom clot’s. Dr Frans Duminy operated on my Dad, removed them and fixed the Achilles tendon. Dad was spared to our family for another 11 years after this, he passed on at the age of 86. The family were very grateful to Dr Frans Duminy, for saving Dad’s live. The family think very highly of Dr Frans Duminy and would recommend him anyday. Gail van Zyl

I was fortunate enough to interview Dr Duminy about plastic surgery many years ago, and was immensely impressed with his knowledge and forward thinking approach. His views on local anaesthetic and conscious sedation were particularly inspiring, having experienced general anaesthetic and extreme post operative pain. I opted for a melon slice and liposculpture to eradicate an ugly hysterectomy scar and flap. I never dreamed I could ever have such a flat and lovely tummy. Now I even have signs of a six pack! Thank you Dr. Duminy. I couldn't be happier with my results. You are a true artist and I appreciate your thorough and insightful scientific explanations regarding scar healing. The post operative care is sound and I have felt well cared for throughout the process. The staff are warm and genuinely interested in the patients and have appeared sincerely delighted on my behalf. I have had several procedures with Dr. Duminy and he is an absolute artist in what he does. Precise in his very fine work, gentle of nature, caring and not critical towards over weight patients. He really made me feel at ease with my first visit to the practice. His detailed consultation prepared me for my surgery that was awaiting me. The post op care was amazing. One of his nursing sisters actually come to your home and see to your post-operative needs and reassure you that everything is "normal" Thank you to DR. Duminy and his team for being so efficient and friendly at all times.

The first time I met Dr Duminy I felt very comfortable, confident and reassured with everything he discussed with me. I have since returned several times for other procedures. I have recommended several of my family members to him as they have seen the amazing results he produces. They too are delighted with their results and have returned back to him. All the nurses and medical staff are extremely warm and comforting and the patient is very well looked after. The whole atmosphere is very cosy and discreet and you feel like you are in a family home. I trust Dr Duminy implicitly and I feel blessed to have found him. He's a genius. Candace

This was not the first procedure I've had with Dr Duminy. I was impressed by the constant effort of he and his team to improve the process. Everything from the pre-surgical consultation to the choice of antibiotic has been tried, tested and refined. Surgery is a bit nerve wracking, but Dr Duminy's calm presence, and his caring team make it remarkably pleasant. His nurses give expert after care and home visits as appropriate. It's great to be able to sms questions to someone who knows the procedure and recovery through and through. Plastic surgery requires an aesthetic sense, as well as medical expertise. Dr Duminy has both. He gives good advice, and won't proceed unless he truly believes the surgery will be beneficial. I highly recommend Dr Duminy and his practice.
